Ferny Grove Central is set to transform the current bitumen car park at the "end of the line" into a suburban destination and a vibrant hub containing shopping and entertainment offerings to the local community.

In 2021, Townsville will welcome an iconic new tourism hub and breakwater terminal - The Townsville Marine Tourism Precinct.

Developed in response to Queensland’s growing tourism industry, this expanded Sealink ferry terminal will become the gateway to major holiday destinations including Magnetic Island. Upon completion, the $54 million development is forecast to accommodate an annual passenger movement of more than 800,000.

Central is a $450 million master planned development in Townsville’s CBD that is transforming the inner-city rail yards into a thriving residential, dining and entertainment lifestyle precinct.

The precinct has converted Townsville CBD’s west sector into an energy-filled, self-sufficient and exclusive new village community. The mixed-use project is situated on the banks of Ross Creek and features one, two and three bedroom contemporary apartments integrated with retail and commercial zones including cafes, shopping, dining, and entertainment.
