Construction of Telstra’s new office and warehouse in Townsville started in late 2023, and it is expected that construction will take just over 12 months.

These new premises will deliver a modern and collaborative hub for 370 Telstra employees and represents the telco’s commitment to regional development and the future growth of Townsville’s business sector.

Telstra and Honeycombes’ commitment to sustainability is evident in the design of these new facilities, with ESG principles incorporated throughout. The project will incorporate market leading sustainability practices and is targeting a NABERS Energy 5 star rating, demonstrating Telstra’s dedication to energy efficiency and reducing its environmental footprint.

Ferny Grove Central is transforming the current bitumen car park at the "end of the line" into a suburban destination and a vibrant hub containing shopping and entertainment offerings for the local community.

Working alongside the Department of Transport and Main Roads, this Transit Oriented Development (TOD) will provide improved amenity for commuters and the wider Ferny Grove community and includes new transport facilities, landscaped pedestrian plazas and an air conditioned retail plaza along with improved vehicle and pedestrian connections.

The new commuter car park (Stage 1) was finished in late 2023, with Stage 2 (comprising apartments, more car parking and retail) due for completion in mid-2025.

Honeycombes has secured a prime development site in Brisbane’s Woolloongabba Priority Development Area (PDA), adjacent to the Mater Hospital. We are working with Economic Development Queensland to determine the preferred development approach to this exciting urban renewal project. Following this consultation, Honeycombes will submit a Development Application toward the end of 2024.
