Richard Wallace

Chairman

Richard was the joint founder of SR Wallace & Wallace Solicitors and practiced in commercial, business and property law.

Richard is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia. He holds an MBA from Deakin University and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Managing Director

Peter Honeycombe moved to Townsville from Brisbane in 1989 to open Jones Lang’s NQ office before joining the family firm and launching Honeycombes Property Group in 1991. He is a Fellow of both the Australian Institute of Management and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.  Peter has completed more than $1.5 Billion in projects across Qld while living in Townsville.

Peter is a current Director of The College of Nations, a not for profit training and global humanitarian group associated with Youth With A Mission; and a former Director of Townsville Enterprise Limited, Townsville’s peak marketing and economic development body. Peter was recently appointed a Director Good Shepherd Nursing Home Limited.

Andrew joined Honeycombes in 2012 as Director - Commercial and is a member of the Executive Team. He is responsible for providing strategic legal and commercial advice to the Board and Managing Director across all facets of the business. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Business, a Bachelor of Laws and a Queensland Solicitors Practicing. Andrew is also responsible for the management of the Development Team.

Brent Hailey has more than thirty years’ experience in the property industry, specialising in residential development, civil engineering and strategic management. Brent was formerly the Chief Operating Officer of Devine Limited, the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Villa World Limited and a former State President of UDIA (Qld).

Vanessa manages both corporate and project aspects of Honeycombes’ day to day activities. Devoted to instilling integrity and strong values into the business and is focused on building sound and lasting relationships with stakeholders and business partners.

With an extensive background in design, Vanessa has been actively involved in Honeycombes’ projects for over 20 years with input into design, form and finish outcomes.

Malcolm is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years’ experience in complex corporate environments and public practice. Malcolm’s background is in multi-entity project driven organisations, managing process redesign and systems implementation. He is a member of the Executive Team and is responsible for the management of the finance and accounting operations for Honeycombes Property Group.

Nigel Stephenson

General Manager- Delivery

Nigel has around 30 years experience in design, construction and project management of a large diversity of projects in the private and public sector and at client, contractor and consultancy levels.  At Honeycombes Property Group Nigel is responsible for the successful construction delivery of all projects including residential, retail and commercial developments with the key objective that all of these projects are delivered on time and within budget. Over a 15 year period with Honeycombes Property Group Nigel has generally achieved this objective.

Development Analyst Assistant

Addison is a recent graduate with a keen interest in residential and mixed use development. Addison focused on retail and residential developments and research throughout his University study and is now applying this experience into developments throughout Queensland.

Brad McGuinnes-Burkin

Financial Administrator

Brad has 30 years’ experience as a Financial Administrator. Having initially come from Education, he has had various roles, including in Saleyards operations, wholesale warehousing, transportation logistics and high volume retail. Brad has recently relocated to Townsville after more than 20 years in his previous role. He brings a wealth of knowledge as Financial Administrator to Honeycombes, a keen ability to problem solve and has a results driven attitude from years in the customer service environment.

Matthew is a Project Manager with extensive experience in delivering complex and challenging projects within both the public and private sectors. Matt has been involved as a Project Manager in the delivery of various mixed-use developments throughout Queensland. 

Stephanie McAllister

Marketing Assistant

Stephanie is a recent graduate who assists in the development and distribution of marketing and promotional material. She understands marketing principles and has built strong foundations in social media and digital marketing.

Monica Pennington

Bookkeeper

Monica oversees the company’s financial data and compliance through recording and maintaining accurate financial information. Monica is time-managed and well organised with over 20 years bookkeeping experience across a variety of industries resulting in a high standard of efficiency & advanced customer service. 

Tiarne Brownlie

Junior Administrative Assistant

Tiarne is an enthusiastic and professional Administrative Assistant. Well-organised and able to multitask while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
